Well I don't see why you would want to have a single lesson in every topic anyway (particularly) if they are all related, why not have several lessons in one topic? Topic sections are meant for more than one activity,usually, but it is up to you how you choose to display the lessons and your topic sections.

Currently this isn't possible. If a teacher has permissions to enrol students into their course then they can see all possible available students to enrol.

In the lesson settings, in the Grade section, have you got Retakes allowed?
