I have been following the latest developments regarding GPL and commercial extensions in the Joomla community with interest: GPL compliance issues are tearing Joomla! apart.

At the same time, I am seeing more semi-commercial extensions for Moodle (free extensions to help use commercial applications with Moodle). I think there is nothing wrong with that. I admit that I have probably not thought this all the way through, but it seems like a healthy development to me.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out this Joomla issue to those Moodlers who are interested in this sort of thing. Does it matter to us at all? I am sure that Martin has this all taken care of, but wonder what you all think about it.

Great overview of Moodle. I really like how you use examples to paint a picture for those who may not understand how Moodle might be used in various situations.

I was especially pleased to see that Milken citation on one of your slides. I am not an Ignatian educator, but I am a Milken Educator, so I felt included.
