That is great, Anthony.
Maybe one day you will present at a Moodle Moot!

I have been wondering about this, too, Anthony.
By the way, do you ever present at any MoodleMoots? I think that your school's story would be a compelling and inspiring example to aspiring Moodlers, at least at the K-12 level. Just wondering...

No, no... I was not complaining! I am sorry if my post sounded like a complaint.
I will miss the Aiken format for purely personal reasons. I do not expect the developers to worry about that sort of thing. My God, as if you magic-makers did not have enough to think about already.
I would love it if it were maintained, but please don't give it another thought on my account.
Best regards,

My attachment to the Aiken format is simply emotional. In the early days of Moodle, I posted a request for some way to upload about a zillion multiple choice questions for a colleague and Thomas Robb just jumped in a wrote it for us. He did not know us, he had no connection to our school. He was just being nice. Really, really nice.
I will never forget how great it made me feel that someone would do that. I still feel great about it, but I am no longer surprised when I see acts of generosity like that at moodle.org anymore. It still makes me feel warm and fuzzy, but not surprised.
Moodle has gotten big and the community is inevitably less intimate than it was. It's wonderful, but it is different than it was.
I suppose that's why I am truly going to miss the Aiken format.
