Moodle in English -> Themes -> fixpix.php
by Art Lader -
Greetings, fellow Moodlers,
The file fixpix.php is referenced in config.php, but I am not clear on where it is and what it actually does.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Art

Hi, Paul,
Entirely understandable, I'd say. I think this is going to keep coming up, by the way. It is just difficult for anyone who does not live here to believe the hysteria and lunacy that surround the use of the Internet in our schools and the privacy/security concerns that have taken hold of otherwise reasonable people.
Here's the joke, though: When one of our students does something great, it is often in the newspaper with his/her picture and all sorts of details about the student - including real name. Does the newspaper have an online edition in which this info appears? Of course it does. The info goes right out to the web and the RSS feed of the paper. The story is not password protected and I doubt that anyone is looking to see who is accessing the information. But if I were to put the same picture and information in a much more secure Moodle environment, there could be hell to pay.
Are we nuts or what?
