We are still using Open LMS ( Moodle). . that's how, I am learning from their LMS.

So you don't have the testing site yet? Yours sound like an established institution. In that case a good VM is the answer - unless you've a massive operation. Then you might have to go for a dedicated server or a web server cluster or the "Cloud" or ...

 

P.S. I thought you got this problem clarified in your other discussion: Some Plugins are missing.

 

P.P.S. I don't think Moodle developers can help you. This is likely an Installing and upgrading problem.

On 1 - If you mean Tags block, no, that is not what I want. I want alphabetically ordered list of terms as in the sample I attached.

On 2 - Sounds sophisticated. I am not sure I can / I will go that path for this need.

 

I am surprised that Tags are not for index terms. that there is no plug-in or other mechanism to achieve this immediately - for me that is the application of keywords.

 

P.S. Dear Mod, could you move this discussion to Teaching with Moodle? I think that is where this discussion belongs to.

By any chance have you copied the new Moodle code over the old? Upgrading#Install_the_new_Moodle_software tells otherwise.

I can't follow the conundrum. The only thing I see is that some smart Alec has decided drop support of 4.1 LTS prematurely. He/she needs to study the graph at the top of https://moodledev.io/general/releases.
