That much secrecy? Let's call it then the "Moodle 4.5 - 007 edition". wink

Saw that the secrets will be disclosed on Wednesday, https://moodle.academy/calendar/view.php?event_12292.

To the VPL developers and its community

The VPL activity has this nice feature that I can make the activity independent of a computing language - for me it means any of C, Java, Pascal and Python. I just do not give a "Requested file" and when the user gives it a file extension VPL detects the language.

I don't know how to do the same in a VPL question. If I don't set a Requested file, it throws an error. The error message is oddly the one below. But we know that the VPL server is working, since we can do VPL activities on the same site. So the question is, can I make a language-independent question with the VPL question type?

The only relevant thing I can thing of, provocate a slow loading, note down the time,

Ask for a report of IOPS from the hosting provide and see whether it shows any correlation of your operation and the IOPS hitting the cap. That is the only specific hint I have right now.

The graphs you posted has one medium and one high peak. If you make them appear, then you know that the hosting service doesn't like what you are doing.

Note that this is a higher level view. I see, Ken is giving you detailed advise. When you are ready to dive deep, follow his advise.

Rereading I realize that the whole process is manual which can be handled by Moodle's board tools!

Consider RESOLVED albeit through unexpected means. ;)

Still, if anybody knows good documentation on Booking and Invitation please post here.
