I regret mentioning homework. I felt uncomfortable as I wrote it, now I know why!


I propose, rather than getting entangled in a fundamental question, and implicitly telling the OP that homework is useless, find out first what the OP wants and then tell him how to handle that in Moodle, if at all possible.

Let him answer my question first: 'When you talk of "on-line learning" you mean the on-line, i.e. at a networked computer device, component of a course which is also taught face-to-face. The question is whether it is a repetition of what has been done in the classroom or is it an extension, i.e. exercises which were not conducted in the classroom but an integral part of the course augmenting it.' Then we know.

If it is the case, a) the rejection is recorded in logs b) a good server should sent a bounced mail message to the sender. Here is a recent example from Gmail:

There is a small problem though. The Wiki used in Moodle Docs does not follow https://docs.moodle.org/en/Using_TeX_Notation. It does not obey the "DollarDollar" tag, uses <math> instead. Even then does not know the sequence \TeX!

The example below shows that the moodle.org forum obeys "DollarDollar":
$$ \TeX \frac{a}{b} $$

I would take a hp Mission Critical Server: https://www.hpe.com/us/en/servers/mission-critical.html. They powered NSA, http://politics.slashdot.org/story/15/09/29/220239/carly-fiorina-i-supplied-hp-servers-for-nsa-snooping, therefore must be good.
