Hallo Jonas

Das Bild zeigt nur eine Prozessnr.! Beobachte z.B. 'htop' sortiert nach CPU% und finde heraus wie der Verursacher heisst. Z.B. wenn das php8.3-fpm ist, fuehre 'ps uax | grep -i php8.3-fpm' und poste den Output hier.

This is about a 4.1 LTS site that has been in intensive operation for a long time. Only recently, 4 weeks? ago, I upgraded it to 4.5 LTS. (Git upgrade, in situ). Except that almost all plug-ins needed to be upgraded too, all went fine.

Only now, trying to export question categories to Moodle XML and import to another course (on the same site) I noticed that the questions have multiplied. It looks like each question version has become a full question!

The annoying thing is that all these versions carry the version number 1, so I don't know which is the latest to delete the others. (Maybe there are dates in the original course, but I don't want to touch it, now I am in the second course.) Very tedious.

I took lot of precautions to keep the questions nicely in categories at course level, because in this course the quizzes and the question categories are one-to-one related.

If anybody wants to follow up, I can look more carefully. But absolutely no fun, I want to reuse those questions in a new course and move forward, and have little patience towards these non-ending changes.

Current Moodle is version 4.5.4. The previous one was 4.1.latest at that time, somewhere 15, I think.

Oooh, that is unfortunate! Yeah, the most lapidary summary would have been, "it depends". But that analogy went further, and finally there were numbers too.

Not to the analogy, for me Florida is synonymous with affluence - and also the related health issues. Sahel is the opposite. Brought both extremes to find out where the OP is. If not stated, then it must be +1, the US, that is where the international phone codes begin.

Have to admit that I was confused, I picked up the 130 GB in his post, whereas you brought it. OP's numbers are quite decent I must say, not only for the US: "I prefer our courses to be 500 MB, or less. Our median course size is 381 MB, which I am happy with. 77% of our courses are below 1 GB. It is the 2% that is above 10 GB that I don't like."

That _is_ excellent, everything below 1 GB, I mean. And whether I like 10 GB? Unless it is a course on video production, that kind of swellings are a sign of ignorance and glut.
