Maybe our feelings are ultimately that of these models, or, if we want to think positive, we can argue that the models inherited their "feelings" from us! Whatever, I value _your_ feelings more than a collective conscience (con-science?) of humanity, as sucked by these agents.

More scary is how the web reads our minds. After reading your post I opened YouTube and it greeted me with this: LINUS TORVALDS WAS RIGHT ABOUT MICROSOFT BUT NOBODY LISTENED.... - just one day ago, 250 k views, no idea (highly likely) that it is AI-generated.

 

I know, I know, in an argument over feelings, there are no winners - exactly that makes the discussion exciting. But one thing is factual - for me at least - the centralization, the world-wide code base in one place, and in the vaults of a US BIG TECH of all places.

Addition to avoid a misunderstanding. I don't want to go back to Moodle 2, I heavily use all kinds of new features. What I don't want is the long series of breakages, constructions sites, the ups-and-downs, we had and a different approach to priorities, when it comes to fixing them.

This is a question bothering me for some time. Hesitated to ask it, since it is such an impossible question. Now this thread has popped up, I raise a short version. If it makes any sense, I'll be willing search the forum for my sources.

The question:

Has the quiz system over-promised?

 

I mean, is there a conflict in its design, that makes this duplicating questions issue a necessity, given the multitude of functionality, like users may duplicate quizzes (in its action menu), recreate quizzes through course backup/restore, or through the import function, via Sharing Cart, through the API, and many more which I haven't even heard of?
