Bonjour,

J'aimerais bien visiter ton cours.

Cheers,
Glenys

Hello everyone,

I just came across the HOTFLASH module I don't think it's ever been mentioned on the Hot Potatoes Users list though from time to time people ask about the possible integration of HP and Flash.

I've looked at the PowerPoint presentation and I'd be interested to see some examples. Could anyone show me some?

I'm wondering in particular if it could solve my problems finding a flash video player that works correctly in Hot Potatoes in Moodle on both IE6 and Firefox.

Thanks in advance.
Glenys
Hello Gordon,

This is great for my Mac using students. I only have a few of them, but I intend my courses to works as easily on the technical front for them as for those on PC.

I'm still going to recommend they use Firefox instead of Safari, though, because there are problems using the html editor in the Moodle wikis and message forums with Safari.

I'm also impressed by the technical complexity of the work you do, "trail and tribulation", to fix problems like this so that mathematical illiterates like myself can use Moodle and HP to attain our pedagogical objectives.

Cheers,
Glenys

Hello,
I've been told by a student that the 30a_michael.htm exercise doesn't work on my university site (Moodle 1.6.4) in IE 6.

Could someone test if 30a_michael.htm works in IE 6 on Gordon's test site (Moodle 1.6.5)?
To see it you can log in as a teacher using the following information:

* Username: guestteacher
* Password: hotpotv21

Is there anything I can do to make it work in IE 6? I can't just tell my students to upgrade to IE 7 or use Firefox because many of them have no control over the browsers installed in their media center or cyber café.

Cheers,
