I thought I might not be the only one not to know what an ANCT-Scan is, so I've copied a post of Gordon's here :

I developed the ANCT-Scan add-on (with John Herbert) for the QuizPort module. Students know there are 10 things to find to in the text, but they don't get right/wrong feedback on each click. Hi Gordon,

There's a little layout problem in QuizPort with the orangewhite and custom_corners themes: see the screenshot below. There's no problem with the standard themes or with wood, metal, oceanblue and cornflower blue so I'll understand if you say it's not really your problem and I should contact the theme creators.

Hi Tim,

Yes, you're right that teachers can overwhelm the discussion - it requires a lot of sensitivity to know how much and how little to say. I don't always manage that - it's so much more difficult on line than face to face..

As a Silent Way teacher, after 30 years of saying very little in a face-to-face classroomn, the problem was to push myself to say more. I think, however, I'm the only Silent Way teacher around here (be delighted to know if I'm not ).

Hi Oleg,

When I'm logged in to the tracker and on the "Dashboard" I see links to Votes, Watches, etc. and if I scroll down the page I actually see a list of them.

Maybe you weren't logged in?

I haven't sussed it all out yet, but my impression is that the new tracker is much more user-friendly.
