I upgraded our school-moodle to version 1.9.9 and I also tried to install moodle 2.0 review in another directory.

Until Moodle 1.9.7 everything worked fine allthough my provider do not allow to manipulate the php.ini. Therefore he gives me the possibility to create a "php5-cgi.ini" and make my settings.

But now in Moodle 1.9.9 this happens: If I go to "Administrator-Reports-Safety Reports" I get a few warnings. But if I go to "Administrator-Server-PHP-Infos" every setting is correct as you can see in the screenshot:

And if I try to install Moodle 2.0 Review 3 the installation says "Warning: You must set "register_globals=off" and stops the installation. No chance to install Moodle 2.

I'm really frustrated. I also tried to use a ".htaccess" file but the same result. Is this a bug or has anyone an idea to solve this problem?

Moodle in English -> General help -> What went wrong with my settings

Hello,

I have a really weird problem and can't find a solution. I updated to Moodle 1.9.9+. When I start the "security report" I get this warnings:
06.11.2010-17.11.24.png
But I placed a php_info.php in the root directory of my moodle installation and this file shows me that:

06.11.2010-17.13.41.png

I have to say that my provider doesn't allow to manipulate the php.ini directly but I can write a php5-cgi.ini, place this in the root directory of moodle and it worked until Moodle version 1.7.

I really have no idea why Moodle do not recognize the new settings and I would glad about any help I can get.

regards
Christian
