Thanks for your reply, Marcus. That H5P content is similar to my Moodle REGEXP question type, but not so elaborate. I'm currently in contact with the author and have just completed the French translation.

Hi Marcus,
Sorry but I don't understand your remark. Which H5P activity does it refer to? Do you mean "Drag into text"? What do you mean by "the new feedback thing"?
Does your remark apply to my "papi Jo" versions of Dialog Cards & Drag & Drop as demonstrated on my Drupal Test site? or to other standard H5P activities?
Yours puzzled,σκεπτικός
Joseph

Thanks for your appreciation, Beatriz. Yes, the H5P Drag & Drop activity can be used for matching elements. But the strong point in my new Matching feature within Dialog Cards is that, once the teacher has entered all the cards data, that data can be used in 3 different ways; that's 3 activities "for the price of one"!

Moodle in English -> Roles and permissions -> How to create restricted teacher role

Not sure this is the correct forum for my post.

On my Moodle online test site I want to create a "restricted teacher role" with the following permissions and restrictions. There is only one test course on that site.

permissions

create questions & quizzes & edit / delete own questions & quizzes

create H5P activities & edit/delete own H5P activities

... plus maybe create a few other Moodle activities

restrictions

prevent edit/delete any course activities not created by the user(s) with restricted teacher role

Problem: if I allow "Turn editing on", that user can do anything.

Question: what is the best solution? create that new role based on non-editing teacher and ADD permissions or based on editing teacher and remove permissions?

I'm sure I had created exactly that restricted role a few years ago, but have lost it.

Joseph
