Hi Tim,

You wrote "... at least for the most-used question types".

Does this mean that the authors of contributed question types would have to implement this new feature themselves?

I find your Cloze question very strange. Looks like you created that table in your word processor and copied it to Moodle cloze, so that you imported a lot of "garbage formatting". Why not use the Moodle editor's table feature?

Anyway, you are expecting the correct answers to be either an "x" or an "X", that's OK, but you are expecting the incorrect answers to be anything else (using the * wildcard). But if the student enters nothing in the "non-checkable" boxes, they get this error message: "Please answer all parts of the question." I'm very surprised that you would get the completed question screenshot shown in your first message in this thread!

If you absolutely want to use the Cloze question type, I suggest you use the MULTICHOICE sub-question type, with a true/false choice (or yes/no) in each table cell.

But you might consider using the (contributed) Word Select question type.

I hope you have Word Select installed on your Moodle site.

Please find below the 2 exported question files. Hope that helps.

Hi Ahmad,

I'm still waiting for you to answer my replies to your question here: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=416834#p1679561

The Moodle forums are a great place for asking questions, and there are plenty of people willing to help, but the minimum you can do is to acknowledge those people's replies.begi-keinua

Hi Jennifer

This is related to this discussion:

https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=416671 where I have provided a fix . Now it's up to Mike to integrate the fix in the next release of Questionnaire.

Maybe a mouse had nibbled that "View All Responses" link, which caused its malfunctioning. However, the cat in your avatar chased, caught and ate that naughty mouse. And finally the "View All Responses" link self-healed and appeared again on your Moodle site.

Weird things happen at times in Moodle Land. begi-keinua
