You might a) unenrol all currently enrolled students and bà make all courses accessible to guests, and advise your students to "login as guests".
Of course this means that then all students would be able to visit all courses on your Moodle site... which maybe some of the teachers would not want. To prevent this you might make the courses open to guests with a key, and provide the students to the key(s) relevant to their own course(s).

Also what version of Hotpotaoes was used to prepare the HP Cloze activity? -> version 6.0 Release 4 Build 22
And on what kind of machine was the Hotpot activity prepared? -> a windows PC? (I have no Mac)
