Very strange, if you are an administrator then you can certainly "get" into any existing course on your Moodle site and do what you like in it, including designating a teacher for that course.

Which Moodle version are you using?

Do you by any chance have a large number of MP3 Players (>15) displayed on the same page in your browser? If so, this thread might help.

This is strange. It might have something to do with the theme you are using. Which theme are you using? What happens if you use the standard theme?
