Hello,

When I used to commit changes to contrib (for the module I maintain) and provide a bug tracker reference, soon afterwards the reference to the changes in moodle/contrib was visible in the bug tracker (by clicking on the All or the Control tabs).

Just noticed that this is no longer the case, and when, in the tracker, I click on the Version Control tab I get this message:

The cvs commits can not be displayed for repository Contrib CVS at the moment since the log has not yet been parsed. The log will be parsed the next time the VcsService runs. If you have administrators privileges you can hasten the next time the service will run in the service section of the Administration pages.

Is this a new feature? How long does it take the VcsService to run (whatever that is)?

Hi Tim,

I have two relatively minor grievances re the questions editor in 2.0.

1.- the Grade drop-down list contains an awful lot of different percentages (for which I have no use, but...) and unfortunately, when clicked, it is just too short to display the one percentage I need for correct answers (100%). Each time I create the "correct" answer in an MCQ question I pester against that looooong list which needs an extra click to show the 100% grade.

2.- This has been mentioned before, but I see that the Answer box is still much too short. Please make it at least as long as the HTML editor box beneath it.

Joseph

PS.- Let these minor grievances of mine not deter you from enjoying your well-deserved forthcoming holiday.wink

Moodle 2.0 Preview 4+ (Build: 20100725)
The docking icons seem to have disappeared from a number of themes with this new Build!
Here is the situation:

ok:
arialist $THEME->parents = array('canvas','base',);
binarius $THEME->parents = array('canvas','base',);
standard

not ok:
anomaly : possible to dock, impossible to undock : blocks simply disappear upon undocking!
$THEME->parents = array('base');

no docking icon visible:
boxxie $THEME->parents = array('canvas','base');
cafelite $THEME->parents = array('basepercent');

plus: themes which are set to $THEME->hidefromselector = true; still show up in the themes selector window (e.g. base, basepercent)

When selecting a theme in Moodle 2.0, there is a "Invalidate Theme caches" button at the top of the list of themes. I am not sure what this is meant to do.

Does it mean:

  1. empty actual theme cache(s) (BTW why the plural ? are there more than one theme caches?)
  2. or disable theme caches on this site from now on?

If (1), then a better wording would be "Empty Theme caches" or "Purge Theme caches". Plus it would be nice if some kind of message were displayed after pressing that button telling the user about what has been done.
