I'm not sure if this is the right place but I still can not install version 1.5 on my  main host platform.   I presently run vesion 1.43 on that site, but when I upgrade I get :

Page class mapping for id "course" exists but class "" is not defined

Continue

I have contacted the server provider and they increased the mem allowance as sugested by someone but that still did not work.

Moodle 1.5  works fine on my own test server which has Fedora core2

Hi Ludo

I have it installed, great new feature.  big grin

1. A couple of small problems. Not very clear on how to install contacts, I did manage to do it.

2. When contacts are selected when composing an Email you can not unselect.  When you say "done" it will of course send the Email to all selected names.

3. When students login there is an error :/moodle/lan/en/block_simplemail_information.php missing.

(I added a file by that name with nothing in it and everything seamedto work OK.

Thanks for the great modulecool

Moodle in English -> General help -> ver 1.5 dev install

par Jacob Romeyn,

When I try to install Moodle ver 1.5 dev I still get the following error:

Page class mapping for id "course" exists but class "" is not defined

Continue

The first part :     always stays the same but the rest changes when you click on continue.

I asked my ISP to increase the memory setting in the PHP,  as someone sugested but it did not change anything.

Any other sugestions?

I missed the admin setting for the comments, and I like that better.

I think would like  the ability to resize the comment window.thoughtful

And looking at it closer allowing the student to modify their own page is goodapprove

I noticed that the student can have a private calendar?  Is this a feature of Blog or part of Moodle 1.5?

"Moodle is not really CMSs. CMS is more for business and industry"

I think Moodle is all of them.   Moodle, and the M is important, is Modular.

With the incredible Moodle community, all  "MODULES"   required for any type of learning are:

1. Already  availableapprove

2. Under developmentcool

3. Comming soonbig grin

CMS,  DMS, KMS, LMS  whathever you (the Moodle community) would like, it is or will be.
