Yes, in Firefox it does not show nothing (there should be bullets)  but in IE it shows small rectangles.  It is some code in MS Word which is not translated properly.

When I cut and paste from MS Word to Word pad, and than cut and paste back to the HTML editor, the rectangles are again replaced  with bullets.

Though it is not only this, but other symbols are changed as well:

•  - removed and replaced by space
•  ' removed etc.

This happened when I upgraded to Ver 1.6  in dozens of locations throughout the courses.

I have a problem in version 1.6 with cut and paste from MS Word.  Some characters, the bullits change  to small retangles.   See the link below.

Anyone able to sugest a solution?

Thank you so much Steve, I also locked out my school and was able to delete the error quickly.   I was searching for the table but did not know the table name or the field name.  Moodle sure has a great support team, thanks again!
