Moodle is not equipped to handle this.
someother softwares like goldstudio do that.
the only option is that you should have multiple quizzes or lessons.
tests like 16pf or other personality inventories are not possible as yet.
however there is a workaround.
put all questions in a single quiz.
don't mark them in moodle.
export every single candidate's responses as excel file.
there is a program called excel-grader (free)
download it and customise it as per your questions.
from then on, it'll mark the answer sheets for you.
this is a quasi manual method.(download manual, checking by excel-grader automated)
this is the best that can be done presently.

The correct answers will only be shown after the students reach a certain grade
Not possible as yet
The purpose of the quiz is about learning, not evaluating
So allow them to see it after the attempt but force them to have a definite period prior to second attempt.

it's beyond me to comprehend where is the problem.
you are yourself saying you are giving negative to wrong answers.
stop that.
give it zero.
positive to all right ones.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i understand now.............................
you want that if a student marks all answers wrong, she should get negative marks.
but if among the wrong ones, she marks the correct one too, then all her sins get forgiven and she gets the positive marks ...right??
lemme say this: i don't know the solution but I LOVE A TEACHER LIKE YOU whose magnanimity forgives guessing, wrong answering evrything if the student manages the right one somehow.
on a lighter note, it's be best if you also include an eenie, meenie mynah, moh kindda system to select right answers.
come on shilpa, you can't bake your cake n eat it too.
ok, here is a solution close to what you want. give wrong answers less negativity....e.g.
what is a rabbit?
1. mammal: +100
2. plant: -20
3. virus : -20
4. bacteria: -20
so in case she marks all the answers, she'd at least get +40
cheerios

I use this feature to give psychological tests.
but we use it interactively and it is not auto matic.
what we do, we keep first 30 questions compulsory for everyone. the score bar is shown at top.
after 30 qs, there is a branch.
it says-" your current score is- 1. <50 % 2.50-75% 3.>75%
branch 1 goes to easiest set of next 20 ques
branch 2 goes to moderate difficulty
branch 3 goes to high difficulty
you can add 4.100%
and send this branch to end of lesson
