Euclid once said to the King, "There is no royal road to mathematics".

What you say is Not possible.

I have suggested a way before. That's the shortest cut. I'll repeat here.

  1. Save pdf as text.
  2. Replace all 'A' as ~A and so on
  3. in each question, replace ~ with =
  4. replace all '?' with '? {'
  5. each last answer should be closed with }
  6. pictures: you may either keep them in a public folder and insert a simple link in the question language like <img src="hhtp://www.yoursite.com/images/image1.jpg"> or use the question editor.
  7. 40 questions will take abt 1 hr for the first time which should come down to 15 min by the time you are doing 4-5th paper. I do it all the time.

hello
 if you could tell me a little more exactly what you wish to do
what kindda resources you wanna create, may be i have a few tips up my sleeve.

frankly, if you create separate groups and turn force groups option on in the course settings, people who are in one course will not even see other groups' files, let alone download them.

so where is the issue....i mean what is the exact stumbling block on which you are stumbling irribarrea

Sorry to say so Pierre but your point is not clear to me .
you may have to elaborate.

All i know is that settings page gives option to be set for a certain no of decimals/sig figures and it also calculates correct answers in dataset using that parameter.

but when the student was answering this, the decimal parameter was not taken into account. This i feel is a bug.

actually this comes to light only when your answers are having several post decimal figures. if you want to say- divide 50/4, the answer is 12.50 and this will be marked correct anyway. but when you say divide 6.758493 by 3 (round off to 4 sig figures) and the answer is 2.252831, then your reply SHOULD be 2.253 but without the tolerance parameter, the moodle will accept only 2.252831 as right. This behaviour must be clarified in the help file or somewhere.
