If power supply is not reliable, what has it got to do with my toilet?

My PC is fine tuned and NEVER has any such issues . My knee is well under control; in fact my knee-jerk reaction is too weak

Power saver mode is not set to any conflicting settings, as such i never use power saver modes.

How will XAMPP help?
My windows are XP pro, and i Use easy PHP so it is kind of WAMP platform. So does this indicate any compatibility issue? if yes, then why only when i go to toilet. Does Moodle get P**sed off coz i went to toilet?

Any other solutions Please?

Solve this if you can.

I have moodle1.6.1 with easy PHP on my PC. (For testing various things offline. It normally works PERFECTLY)

But whenever i go to the loo while working, on returning i see that my PC is rebooting.
This doesn't happen if I immediately go to the loo again but does happen if i go about 30 minuites later again. Naturally, unsaved work is lost.

Can anyone solve?

Ok, now what Tim has suggested makes a lot of sense.

The other possible option is make several short answer questions and use them as matching questions. This'd however make the options available to students.

I say this because if you insist that students attempt NINE variations of the formula within a single question itself, then it's not possible by tim's version but can be done by what i have shown above.

BTW will it be fine if these 9 options appear as 9 separate questions in the quiz?. then you can better randomize the numbers using calculated question. and it wont make much difference anyway. they all can be on the same page.
