That code for HTTP_X_FORWARDED_PROTO absolutely should NOT be in the config file. Where did that come from?

This issue appears to be about upgrading https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_accredible - a non core plugin.

Without wishing to detract from the above.... the likes of HP and Lenovo make 'tiny PCs' which can be had (used) for no money at all. I have a few kicking around, running Linux for various tasks (e.g. print server). One of those would also do the job of an introduction into lots of aspects of running a server.
