This doesn't make much sense to me. Do you mean that you have overridden the role capabilities in over a hundred course categories and regretted it or you want to?

I know I'm no help but that's *exactly* why roles exist and overrides are best used sparingly. How many users does this apply to? What's your objection to creating a new role?

Delete the 'muc' directory in your 'moodledata' directory. (Perhaps take a copy first).

Try again.

If it's really not running then a "task lock" is stuck. Don't worry - they clear after 24 hours. Possibly 24 hours after it last did something...
