Well... all true... but many of us will have (negative?) experiences of patching OSs running Moodle. So there's possibly some "wise words" to be had.

There are an awful lot of Moodle users out there and I think we can reasonably suppose that that majority of them run Moodle without trouble.
It just struck me as unusual to go "looking for problems". I've seen this before - several times - it's quite easy to "research" yourself into total inaction. I'm quite good at it myself

If you're "considering" installing Moodle, why are you expecting to have a problem? That's very "glass half empty"

You may have to investigate the mdl_adhoc_task table.
However, I'm surprised that the task logs do not show the tasks that have failed.

....and quite a lot of work has been done around LTI since 4.1 so, even better, upgrade to 4.4 (if you can)
