Just a quick qusetion, for 1.5.4+ or above, I believe that if you are in a instructor's view for assignment, then check the "allow quick grading" checkbox. Then, if you click on "Grade" or "Update" button, it will use "HTML Editor" by default for instructors to enter comments. However, if the instructor does use BOLD or Italic font in the comments, and save it, in the quick grading mode later in the Comment area, it will actually show you all the HTML codes of those fonts (which does make sense to developer, but NOT to instructors). So my question is, is there a quick way to replace the HTML editor here with some kind of plain text editor? Many thanks!

We have a situation like this. A instructor in our school have a pool of quiz questions. He placed a random question from this pool as well as other questions on a quiz. A student takes the quiz. He then decide to delete one question from the pool. The quiz may still choose the question he deleted because at this point, Moodle does not delete questions, but flags them as hidden. This seems to be a bug in Moodle 1.5.2+ (not sure about 1.5.3 and 1.5.4+) but appears to be fixed in Moodle 1.6.1. My questions are:

1. Did this bug get fixed in 1.5.3 and/or 1.5.4+ codes?

2. If not, how (and which php script) should I change the 1.5.2 (or 1.5.4+) code so that we could fix this bug?? Thanks!

We are running Moodle 1.5.2. When you add a new course, the default setting for the "Number of weeks/topics" is 10. How do I change it to 20? thanks!

Hi all:

We created our own theme and have our own favicon.ico. So right now when we use Firefox and navigate to our site, in front of our URL there will be our new small logo. However, for some reason, if we bookmark that page in Firefox, supposely it should also record that icon, but it's not. I wonder what might be the possible reason for this? If you know of anything about this please let me know, thanks!
