Note that I've done work recently on implementing a framework for importing quiz questions (with one example format already done). See CVS or recent nightlies, and look in mod/quiz/format. it should be fairly simple to extend the basic class to parse any type of input file.

This business with "Remote protocol error" implies that it's more a problem either with your version of sendmail or hotmail. I've never seen such errors before. Is your box fairly up to date?

OK, thanks for that! I only put them in there to avoid problems in case people added the lines to their Apache 1.x configuration files. I'll just get rid of them from the FAQ and install docs and mention "Apache 2 ONLY".

Remove any code you altered - all you need to do is set the locale correctly in the admin's variables page. Try the ones you mentioned above again, and also try "espanol".

To see why the survey graphs aren't displaying, try displaying the images directly eg in Mozilla you can right-click the image and select "View Image". You should see error messages that are preventing the image from displaying. Possibly Freetype isn't included in PHP.
