Continuing to set up and need some help in the quiz area. Imported the questions. Would like to have from the number of questions X number for when a student takes a test.

Example: Question Bank total 100 questions actual test 50 questions selected radom from the bank for each test.

Also how can the admin take a practice test to see how all is working.

I'm in the process of doing this myself. I manually set up a user and then I log in as that user to see how things are working. this also allows me to experience it as the user would.

Still do not see how to create a test from a question bank with random questions coming from the bank

Total questions in bank 100

Student to take test receives only 75 random questions from the 100 question bank.

It's really hard to understand what you want. Don't you understand the explanations in the docs link given by Tim?

  1. You have a questions bank with 100 questions.
  2. You use the "add 75 random questions from that bank" function (as explained in the documentation.
  3. When students take quiz they see 75 randomly selected questions. If test is set to more than 1 "Attempts allowed", each time students re-attempt the test, a new set of 75 randomly selected questions (out of your 100 questions bank) is displayed.
