SCORM responsiveness - too slow.

SCORM responsiveness - too slow.

I've recently installed XAMPP (windows) and Moodle for use on our company intranet (we have around 1000 employees) and I've found that SCORM packages seem to run very slowly, particularly with adobe captivate authored projects.  The content itself runs ok but when a user clicks on a 'check answer' button the program freezes for up to 30 seconds.  I do not have this problem when running the exact same package on our company website (same server) without SCORM.

Any suggestions for optimization (P.S I'm not a programmer)

Cheers,

Tom.

Yes indeed, apparently Moodle is doing all kind of background checks which makes it unusable. CPU is mounting to a 100% with a single user.

Performance on SCORM is a showstopper for us so any suggestion to improve the situation is more than welcome.

Did you ever find a solution to this slow loading SCORM problem? I posted something similar in the SCORM forums here, but I just noticed this thread that seems somewhat similar to my issue.
