Mac 10.3 SERVER (not client) PHP upgrade

Hello, I hope someone can help me! I need tips SPECIFIC to the SERVER version of Mac 10.3 - to get PHP upgraded or updated to include the GD thing so that user photos can be uploaded and other graphics will display.

I am not afraid of Terminal or command line interactions and I can get access. I am VERY afraid of "breaking" the server as I have already done this trying to use client updates on SERVER! It is a web server for the high school I work at. Fortunately it's summer so it isn't heavily used right now.

(Please do not make ANY suggestions to me that you know will work on client and "should " work on SERVER as I have done ALL of them.)

Thank you in advance for ANY 10.3 Server specific hints!

I run a Mac OS X server running 10.3. The easy way to do this is to go here http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/

Read the insall and then install the package. Its easy its fast and for me it was very very safe. Make sure to restart your web server after you run the insall image.

I used the entropy package on my laptop running 10.3 CLIENT and it worked GREAT! Did you use it on the SERVER version of 10.3?

A friend of mine, Bob Gettings, used the entropy package on the SERVER edition, but I am not sure if it was 10.3. He had good results after that. Please contact him directly at the email I sent. smile
