Just to say I've uploaded the latest version of my default theme to the THEMES section.

Newbury College Default v2

This theme has been designed to work as a collection and can be changed via the built-in header menu. You just need to change the links in menubar.php, footer.html and save your own logo.png to the logo folder.

Change Log

Version 2.0 (02/05/2008)

  • Sideblocks now have no borders and a larger heading.
  • Menubar has a new look with a shaded background and a dark border around the sub-container.
  • Footer has a new look. (Issue with messaging module download fix)
  • Printing has it's own stylesheet to address the issue of the squiffy logo and unformatted menu bar coming out on printed pages.

Click here to download and enjoy!

For some reason, this theme and all my others don't appear to be displaying in the Themes database. Don't know if they've been taken down or something but sorry if anyone wanted them. I'll try and fix it if I can work out why it's happened.

Greetings, Shaun!

Your entries have certainly not been removed. Every entry (even modified entries) must be approved before they are visible to everyone. I think you will be able to see them now. But if you change them, they will need to be re-approved. Hopefully, someone will see them fairly quickly.

Hi Shaun

It's working OK now. Only issue I have from upgrading is a white dot appears on the menu bar in IE7 (not FF2 or FF3beta). Have a look at http://vle.ashs.org.uk/

It might not appear on your menu bar as it moves across as the php for the menubar loads.

Thank you once again for the themes and motivating the moodle community further by showing what is possible.

That's ok, thank you for your comments. Just pleased someone can get some use out of them. I've just uploaded another too but it's just a variation on the default one.
