Strange - anyone any idea please? I have used this successfully as well as the Flickr block in my tag page of my profile - but today, on two separate 1.9 Moodle sites with two separate hosts, the youtube block doesn't work but the Flickr block still does. All I get is the empty box, no videos. I am sure I haven't changed any settings and anyway - this is on two Moodles, not specific to one. ?
Well; not to worry - it has decided to work all by itself again today
Sometimes when the Youtube site is running slow, then the video doesn't load and it looks like the block is empty. Anytime you are pulling something from another site, there is a possibility that your site will be impacted.
With Youtube you just don't see the video...with things like rss feeds, it can drag your site to a halt.
