Getting a block to appear on every page

Getting a block to appear on every page

Apologies for cross-posting (blocks forum may have been the wrong place), but I'm thinking of making a combined site-navigation/My Courses block with the aim of having it top left on every single page. What I need to know is how complex this is likely to be (the every-page positioning, not the block). I know a hack is in order, but I'm not sure quite where to start.

Any ideas?

Err... I beliebe that what you need is to use sticky blocks and enable Show Blocks on activities.

I had a look at that, but it doesn't cover system stuff like user profile, participants list, etc as well as the activity pages like within the forums (even when set to show blocks) and also the update activity pages.

I basically want the block on every single page you can possibly access anywhere so that it can act as site-wide master navigation and sticky blocks is sadly not broad enough.

I don't know exactly if the informations you want to show will be big or tiny. In the last case, you should consider putting it in the header...
