The tech specialist and I are trying to set up moodle on our 10.5 server. The server comes with MySql pre-installed as one of the services. The big problem is that we cannot find the database location. We fallowed the installation guide and created the database thru terminal commands, we also configured Webdav to allow the root user access. When we go thru the moodle install http://www.site-name/moodle/install.php and then when we get to the third screen the authentication portion we get the error "We could not connect to the database you specified. Please check your database settings." Any help or ideas would be helpful.
