I have set up Moodle to run over our school's intranet successfully.
Authentication is made using IMAP.
Now at home I have set up Moodle on a Windows XP PRO
I have successfully had my home Moodle authenticating with POP3 using mail.bigpond.com.
I then tried to have home Moodle authenticate over the internet to my schools server using IMAP.
The server is at server.dripha.latis.net.au on 143
I have been unsuccessful.
Could this be to do with a firewall.
Any thoughts?
