Hi,
I would like to add an image beside each available course description. How would I go about doing that?
Also, I do not see where to put the html for the label as described in this document
http://docs.moodle.org/en/Homepage_design
I clicked on the box which adds a topic section, but the only place I see to edit html is the course description box. I want to add a welcome message above the list of available courses.
If you want to let people to see those images in course descriptions without login you should upload them to site files from Administration -> Front Page -> Site files (or some other address with web access) and copy the addresses from address bar, go to course settings / Summary field. Press in editor and paste the address to Image URL: with alternate text...
Press "Turn editing on" and you should be able to edit topic section and other content.
Cool. OK, I got the label editor to show up.
But I can't find course settings/Summary field. Is that supposed to be in the admin panel?
Thanks for the help...I've been working on a custom theme which is turning out well, but I haven't actually used Moodle very much
I'm on the web development side of the project...the teachers probably know the software better than me

Go to course first - check Administration menu and click Settings...
The instructions thus far describe how to place an image IN the course description, which leave a large unused space to the left of the description, under the name of the course, depending on how long the course description is. Is there any way to place the image BESIDE the course description, to the left of the actual text?
