Host with MS-Access

Host with MS-Access

I followed the isnstuctions and set up moodle on a PIII that I was no longer using.  I've set up a minimal amount of content.  I've opened the ports and used NO-IP to set up a free URL.  It's a little slow opening attached resources such as pdf files.  Not sure if this is processor/memory related or bandwidth related or both.  Otherwise navigating is quick.

I have a real website and am currently using Purehost.  They don't support MS SQL but support Access instead.

Can this be made to work with a reasonable amount of effort or should I get a second host for moodle?  If so any recommendations on hosts.  Note that I was able to set up the package as it is almost entirely automated.  I don't know PHP and suspect that making some of the script changes necessary to get it running at a host might be time consuming (I live by trail and error).

You can't use Access. ADODB does support it via ODBC, but it would be crazy. Access' SQL support is incredibly poor. Even if you did get it to work, it would run like a drain!
