Attendance (plugin)

Thanks Dimitry for creating such a great module. We're trying to integrate it with our school model but have ran into some problems along the way.

We're using Moodle 1.8.4+ currently and will be upgrading to 1.9 when the stable build is released. For each of the subjects (courses) taught, there are a number of classes (groups). We have a tutor (non-editing teacher) in each of the classes (groups). What we want is to have the tutor add new sessions and take attendance for them with students in their class (group). These sessions are not to be viewable by tutors (non-editing teachers) of other classes (groups).

This is possible if we create an instance of an Attendance activity for each class and assign them individually to each of the classes (groups) in Moodle 1.9, however, this not the most efficient method and generation of reports will be a problem as the subject head (editing teacher) will have to run the report multiple times for multiple instances of Attendance individually when he/she wants the results of all attendances.

Is it thus possible to have the Attendance activity more group-oriented?
