Hi Andre,
Thanks for your video showing how to create a database activity. Again, you packed a lot of information into 3 minutes, and your voice-over was nice and clear.
However, bearing in mind that many teachers find the database module rather complicated, I suggest you record your video again and make it a lot simpler. How about creating a very simple database activity, such as favourite websites, with just two fields (for a URL and a description). You can then add a couple of entries and show both the single and list views. You could finish by editing either the single template or the list template and then show how the appearance has been improved.
Best wishes and thanks for your continuing participation in GHOP.

Hi Andre,
Thanks for improving your video. Your simple video is much better.
To be sure of not frightening non-technical teachers though, I suggest you make the following additional improvements:

To be sure of not frightening non-technical teachers though, I suggest you make the following additional improvements:
- Change the words "Now we have to add entries to the database" and instead explain that in order to check how things look, you're going to add a couple of database entries which can later be deleted.
- Use URL text which is different from the description text.
- Ensure that the single and list views show different information, otherwise teachers will not understand the point of the two views. Perhaps descriptions can be shown in the single view only.
- Make only one template edit, demonstrating it slowly and clearly.
- Summarise what you have demonstrated, perhaps with a slide.

Hi Andre,
Thanks for further improving your database activity video. However, as I mentioned in GHOP task 112, there seems to be a problem with the audio as it's extremely quiet. Although the deadline for completing GHOP tasks has now passed, I hope you have chance to increase the volume then post a link to the new video.

Ah, sorry, I was doing application and scholarship forms all weekend and didn't get a chance to check back on the task. No matter though, I will find time to update the video (just trying to increase the volume from what it is currently at gets a lot of static from the background, I guess I must have had my microphone setting down so I'll be recording again - maybe tonight or tomorrow morning, if I get done with my work).
