Hello Fellow Moodle People
I am sure this question has been asked many times however I'm new to Moodle and haven't got hours to go through past Forums.I have been experimenting with what in New Zealand where I live is called the
'sandbox 'where Moodlers can experiment and find out how things work.
Last night I created a quiz in three categories. The quiz produced questions which were randomly placed and if the question was multichoice had the possible responses in random order. This was perfect. Exactly what I want.
The quiz had 15 questions , 5 from each category. Even better for me would be if I could create a quiz of say ten questions with 3 randomly picked from the 5 in the first category, 3 from the 5 in the next category and 4 from the 5 in the last. I would still wish the questions to be randomly placed in the ten and any multichoice would still have their responses in a random order. I checked the earliest forum on this and found that such a facility was requested and at that time was still in the future.
The person looking after this part of moodle said that this was in the pipeline. Is it now a reality or is it not ?
I presume the quiz is the latest version as the person who created my 'sandbox' is using the latest or one of the latest versions of moodle.
I will be interested.
