Help me to get chnage my homepage...

  Hi,

 I'm new to moodle.Using moodle we have to create a website, which offere free e-learning courses to the users. For that we need to change the appearacne of the home page. How to customize home page in Moodle? Can any one please suggest me how to edit and place new logo and other widgets?

Start from Administration -> Front Page -> Front Page settings
If you select "Include a topic section", go back to front page and turn editing on you may add/edit/delete content to top middle box or add sideblocks.
http://docs.moodle.org/en/Themes explains how to create themes - usually you need to edit css files or header.html (with notepad or WordPad)
http://docs.moodle.org/en/Blocks_administration gives more info about sideblocks.
