When I add a link to an html file, the accented characters do NOT display correctly. If I open the html file outside moodle, the accented characters display OK
For example instead of "ó" moodle displays "?"

I've been having the very same problem for months, no one around here seems to even understand the problem corretly.

Hi there. I had this problem trying to display the £ sign in an html page last year. Try using these symbols instead of the usual ones in your html page; then upload to Moodle:

Is the issue you are having with Moodle.org or your own Moodle?
How are you entering the characters and from what platform (for example, using the United States-International Keyboard with English from Windows Vista in FF3 using UTF-8 this seems to work just fine.....
