It would be useful for me if I were able to schedule posts to a forum for later dates. Let's say, for example, that I am a middle school French teacher and I would like to develop a unit on Mardis Gras. I have time to do this during my spring and summer vacations, but do not want it to appear in my French Culture forum until next February. I can work on the unit all along from within Moodle, but it won't be published until the date I have indicated.
I use this feature all the time in PHPNuke and think it could be a useul addition to Moodle.
I have attached a little screen shot to help make clear what i mean.
