Just wondering whether someone want to volunteer to keep this test case course updated, and maybe create one for moodle 1.6.x, one for 1.7.x, one for 1.8.x, and one for 1.9.x that covers all new features in each different version? The current test case course could be found at:
http://download.moodle.org/testcourse/
If someone could help with this that would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm by the way that link is no longer available. Is there a new version for this? I would LOVE to see one (testing course) that is full of resources, quizzes, wikis, etc, and maybe have 3 different versions for this (small-sized, with 30 students, medium-sized, with 100 students and MORE course materials, and 1000 students, with TONS of course materials)... Thanks!

Moodle 2.0 had a random course generator, which is useful for some testing, for example to quickly test that performance is OK, and that the number of database queries is roughly constant..
Hi Wen,
It seems that the original test course is nowhere to be found. However, as the Moodle Features Demo course has now been updated for 1.9.3, I guess it's best to use that as a basis for a new test course.
Perhaps creating a set of test courses could be tasks for the Google Highly Open Participation contest, assuming we're invited to take part in it later this year.
In the meantime, as Tim mentions, there's always the random course generator in Moodle 2.0.
