I created a Glossary with Farsi aphabet, but I have problem in its search. the carecter of farsi does not show correct when it shows the search result.

like this:

This and your other recent problems are because Farsi is in UTF, but Moodle itself is not yet able to fully handle UTF.

The only fix is for someone to convert the Farsi language pack from UTF into Windows-1256.

I get the same thing when I try to search on Japanese characters in the glossary. Is there any way I can bodge this by choosing a specific encoding for the Japanese characters (a pointer to a list of character sets supported by Moodle would be useful)?
