I do not want a point value for attendance. When I go to settings and put a point value of 0 It still tries to show up in my gradebook as uncategorized. The funny thing is that it defaults to a score of 100 at the top of the grade book as uncategorized but shows 0 points for the students. This score is added to my total score and messes everything up.
Any ideas anyone?

In my case, I hide the attendance activity (while leaving the block visible) and set my gradebook to not use hidden grades. It seems to work. Did you try that?
