Help Please. Fatal error: Call to undefined function ldap_connect()

We are unable to log back into the system to change the login from LDAP to internal. Can anyone suggest something? We seem to be totally locked out, as none of the admin accounts work, including the primary admin.

The error we are getting is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function ldap_connect() in /mounts/groups/library/apache2/htdocs/moodle/enrol/ldap/enrol.php on line 444

well, that happened to me too and i had to reinstall everything...

One thing to check is that the PHP LDAP module is installed. Take a look in your phpinfo output and check that you have the LDAP module listed (use Edit -> Find in the browser). If it is not, you'll need to install it.
  • If you're using Windows, simply uncomment the line extension=php_ldap.dll in the php.ini file.
  • For Linux systems, use something like yum install php-ldap.

Thank you so much guy's. Our tech was able to recover the login situation with out reinstalling or restoring from back up.
