Excel Export Problem

Hi,

I am about to export our data to Excel so I can print out copies of attendance.  I have recently updated to 1.10 and now am getting the attached Excel file which looks like junk on Office 2003.  What have I done?  The only thing changed has been the attendance block since last time we did this?  If something else is broken can someone direct me to where I can fix it?

I recognise this picture: I saw it several weeks a go on my pc with another modul, so I changed anything related to this export, but nothing worked, until I saw a teacher using the same  option ON ANTHER PC: the problem was related to MY laptop. The point is that I do not know how the problem disappeared from my laptop too..

So first question: Could it be PC related?

An easy way to fix your problem would be to use Excel's Import External Data/New Web Query functionality, I use it instead of Moodle's "export to excel" functions.

It generally looks nicer, and I can still massage the data any way I want.

I'm just installed Moodle 1.9 and experiencing the same problem when exporting my grade book.
Please, could you explain how to install or add this Moodle functionality?
