questionnaire on a USB stick

hello everybody
i have just installed Questionnaire on a USB stick with Moodle 1.8 and Xampp

same procedure as for my other servers
unzip the file in E:\moodle\mod\questionnaire (E: = USB)
then into Notifications
success

remark : there was no continue button

and when i turn editing on
i get a blank left screen ??

any ideas

Hello Vincent,
I have just installed Moodle 1.8 and Xampp on a USB stick (Windows XP). I used the Moodle 1.8.1+ Windows package from the Moodle dowloads.
After completing the Moodle install on localhost I dumped the most recent version of the Questionnaire module into \moodle\mod\questionnaire.
then into Notifications
success
remark : there was continue button
and when i turn editing on : everything is OK.
Did you download the most recent version of Questionnaire?
Something may have gone wrong during installation. Do you have any other 3rd-party or customized modules which might interfere with Questionnaire?

thanks for the reply

well all very frustrating
there seem to be problems with the USB sticks i have around the house.
So I have given up, for the WE, on the USB sticks
(The sticks have an apparently un-erasable " Bureau de Poche" installed )



so i found an underused PC now have the whole thing on that instead and it all works very well indeed
excellent smile

now all i have to do is 'transpose' the ELP
