I am using mooodle 1.7 and
I want to Allow students to create their own webpage?
Can I do that with moodle?

But i think if we use wiki, all students can edit other's web pages. I want to make it private for each student or each group of student.

I believe there's a setting on the wiki module that means each student has their own separate wiki, that only they (and the teacher) can edit...
I suppose it may be possible to use the forums module with a single topic per user (then disable replies so that they are the only ones able to edit)

I mean i want to reuse the code to create a web page in a new module for only creating web page. So what should i do?
I don't know clearly where the code to do that in moodle is.

don't bother! use the wiki, as i said, i think you can give them a solo wiki each...
